StackPath WAF Named Leader in Security Efficacy 2 Years in a Row

In December of 2021, we proudly reported that our StackPath WAF product was named a “leader” in SecureIQLab’s first Cloud Web Application Firewall CyberRisk Validation Comparative Report. Well, we are happy to announce that StackPath WAF has maintained its “leader” status for the second consecutive year!  

From Q3–Q4 of 2022, StackPath was engaged with SecureIQLab as they tested our WAF product alongside 14 industry-leading cloud WAF solutions, and the results speak for themselves. 

StackPath WAF outperformed the competition in OWASP protection (94%), Bot mitigation (100%), and Layer 7 DoS protection (100%) rendering a complete security score more than 10 points higher than the group average. 

While our performance in the security efficacy portion of the report is undoubtedly impressive, perhaps the most important result to share with our customers is that we proudly scored 9,793% on SecureIQLab’s Return on Security Investment (ROSI) assessment—more than one thousand points higher than the group average!  

So, what does that mean for our customers? It means that they get to enjoy leading security benefits for the total cost of ownership which is significantly less than the competition. In short—way more bang for your buck.
